Symantec Corporation, the world’s leading cybersecurity company, allows organizations, governments, and people to secure their most important data wherever it lives. The new visual identity system helps emphasize that while aligning the vision of Symantec internally with employees. To inject new blood into its public image, Symantec introduces a new logo, typeface, color palette, and brand language to construct a more flexible framework for reorganization and market recognizability.

This new logo identity is inspired by the velocity and interconnectedness of a dataflow. It is a flexible design systemthat can be used both individually or as a logo pattern applied across digital products. The two connected S represents the company’s vision, Confidence in a Connected World. The minimal approach is a reflection of Symantec’s low profile nature considered how ubiquitous their service is every users’ daily lives. With this new identity system, Symantec is ready to present itself to a wider customer group with more a refreshing visual language as well as a a more confident cooperate image.

The project comes with a brand guideline consisted of four sections, explaining the design of the new logo identity in detail. The guidelines also showcase how the design system should be or should not be used across brand applications. Rules and guides are there to help the company at all time, to realign itself internally while keeping its external consumers in vision.
